The person arrested for stalking is an overweight man with long hair in his 50s.
The video isn't great quality but the man punched has a totally different haircut - shaved at the sides and short on top, looks younger and thinner.
I doubt it's the same person - if it is he's lost weight and got a new hairdo.

This is outright thug behaviour and there is no way the tribal loyalists talk their way out of this soaking wet paper bag. He is clearly now a 'goner'. Gentlemen we have our by-election. It is just a matter of time now. Labour majority is large but I think we in Reform might fancy our chances under these circumstances with Labour having chosen a prize Yob in July for them. This might be a champaign moment? It's too close to Liverpool for them to vote for anything other than Labour. I don't know the area at all. Looks to be an utter dump with a very chav population but we will never have a better opportunity than this. It will be a great opportunity for some serious grandstanding and culture war advances against the opposition.

As Jack says it is pretty Scouse even though it's not officially part of Merseyside. Maybe not quite as intensely Labour as Skem but not far short. Scouseland is very difficult territory for the non-Labour parties, especially the most working-class parts of it.

I think the MP reported this to the police.

Looks to be an upper dump with a very chav population but we will never have a better opportunity than this. It will be a great opportunity for some serious grandstanding and culture war advances against the opposition. When people don’t vote your way do you really think calling them chavs and their area a dump is going to win them over?

It's very WWC. It could be the breakthrough chance they need. If only Paul Nuttall was still around.

But it confirms what we've all suspected about Reform supporters. Attract the working class vote whilst not respecting them.

When people don’t vote your way do you really think calling them chavs and their area a dump is going to win them over? I speak as I find and from what is before my eyes in various videos. Parts of it do look depressed and chavvy. I am not calling them chavs because they voted Labour but because of behaviour and converse recorded. I live in a Labour constituency in a city that is wholly Labour : Much of it being very far from being chav. I voted Labour and I am not a chav. They will none of them ever know what I said about that part of that seat. It will not have a whit of an effect on anything to do with the next voting there as well you know.

Attract the working class vote whilst not respecting them. OOhh! Aren't they awful? (give you a savage push in the back)! But it works if one speaks to shared concerns and commonly expressed resentments. The voters for a party will encompass many one would never wish to know, talk to, drink with, eat with, let alone marry a daughter off to. If I were to seek election and solicit votes but only from people I liked and respected : Not only would I not win but probably have to fight for a 4th place.

To achieve the status of 'Senior Reform' person when I only joined the party a matter of days ago is rather good going!

Runcorn is fairly crap but the incident appears to be in Frodsham, which is rather nice.
Home town of Gary Barlow (and I think Rebecca Long-Bailey grew up there).
