Beth Knowles is no longer listed as Labour councillor for City Centre ward, Manchester council. If this is a vacancy then the six-month rule applies. (h/t Council Data UK twitter feed) Her ward ceases to exist at this year's elections in any case. Looks like it is split into two new wards (Piccadilly and Deansgate), with only one of the present City Centre ward councillors (Joan Davies) standing again (for Deansgate). Momentum activist Sam Wheeler is among the Labour candidates for Piccadilly ward. |

There appear to be two double vacancies in Oldham
Susan Dearden (Lab) sadly passed away in February - her term of office in Chadderton Central ward runs to 2020
The website no longer lists Clint Phythian (Lab) in Royton North ward. He won the by-election on 8 June 2017 and his term of office runs to 2019.

Lancaster University and Scotforth Rural councillors Lucy Atkinson (health) and Sam Armstrong (leaving the area) have resigned (both Labour, Armstrong elected as Green).
That's all 3 councillors elected for the ward in 2015 gone now. The previous by election had a turnout of 7%.

I rang Oldham Council this morning and they confirmed that Cllr Clint Phythian has not resigned, as per Maxque above. He has disappeared from the website, but it is a technical issue, which they are seeking to repair.

Andy Lenaghan, Conservative councillor for Hayling West on Havant BC has resigned. He was reelected in 2015 so there's a likely double header election in the ward in May.

There'll be a double vacancy in East Chesterton, Cambridge City Council, due to the resignation of Margery Abbott (Lab). I think for health reasons, though I haven't spoken to her since she resigned.
