Same source says this will be the lowest turnout ever.

RTBF exit poll
LREM 32% LR 20.5% FN 18% FI 11% PS 6%
The left looks set to be clobbered on these numbers.

The threshold to get to second round is 12.5% of registered voters, and that will be hard to reach even for FI in many places with such a low turnout.

Mélenchon claims that due to low turnout there's no real mandate for this: The difficulty here though surely is you can still go out and vote for whom you want (in 1st round anyway), if the electorate choose not to for whatever reason its their choice, but do so knowing the consequences if Macron gets a large majority.

PS First Secretary Jean-Christophe Cambadélis has been eliminated and looks set to end up fourth behind LREM, FI and EELV.

Benoit Hamon eliminated in his constituency
Same fate for Aurélie Filippetti
Idem for Cambadélis and Matthias Fekl
The guy who defeated Segolene Royal last time is leading again. Run off with LRM
46.02% for Marine Le Pen.

With 86% of the vote counted it is:
LREM-Modem 31.73% LR-UDI 21.85% FN 14.09% FI 10.66% PS-PRG 9.53% EELV 4.01% PCF 2.74% DLF 1.16%
LREM continue to rise, LR and FN continue to fall.

Only surviving PS candidates are the ones with no LREM candidates running against them or are from the overseas territories/countries.
