A notice of vacancy has been posted (in ye olde paper form pinned to a noticeboard outside Town Hall) for Preston City Council, Town Centre ward. I have tried, fruitlessly, to find an on-line version. There appears not.

It may also be relevant that he's been giving an address in Norfolk as his contact details for about a year. He also left the Conservative group at around the same time.

Welcome back, listener, and thanks for your messages. A few little quibbles...
Portland Tophill election was supposed to be held on the 12th Dec, not the 19th. (As you say, it was unopposed and so not held anyway.)
Winsford Wharton was a Lib Dem gain, not a Labour hold.
16th Jan - I think you are confusing the Trafford Broadheath election, which was Lab gain from Con, with the Airmyn election which was unopposed, I think Ind "hold".
Hertford Bengeo was 22nd Jan, not 23rd.
6th March election was in Bradford-On-Avon North.
