Re the discussion above about the rapid declaration from Monmouthshire Town, there is one polling station in the Shire Hall, so I assume they moved the box to the room next door and counted it then and there.

The Monmouthshire elections officer steadfastly refuses to publish Notices of Poll, because he believes that all the necessary information is contained in the SOPN. He was obliged, however, to publish a Notice of Poll for the General Election, which revealed the location of the polling stations.
