Only just clocked that this is a top target for Reform UK at the next election. They need a 4.5% swing to win.

this was of course related to the Conservatives' withdrawal of support from their candidate Craig Williams after nomination. It could well be a much harder win than it looks on paper. However, Reform are bound to target it and it is far from impossible.

Only just clocked that this is a top target for Reform UK at the next election. They need a 4.5% swing to win. The local circumstances are that the Conservative candidate had specific difficulties which won’t be relevant next time - so the baseline figure for swings next time is a bit misleading.
