Apologies if this has been asked/answered before. Would the Tories have won this seat in 1992? Probably, William Waldegrave won with hefty majorities from 1979-92

Absolutely shameful that the broadcasters to my knowledge didn’t show the declaration here or Waveney Valley (party co-leaders, in case they don’t know) and made little mention of North Herefordshire. And yet permanent footage of Farage in a restaurant/bar in Clacton. They actually don't like the Greens?

And yet permanent footage of Farage in a restaurant/bar in Clacton. Let's not mince words - after the initial reveal of the exit poll (which they actually carried off better than the other channels) the BBC election coverage was an absolute disgrace and the nadir for a politics/news department that has already plumbed hitherto unseen depths in recent years. Somebody just waking up from a decade long coma and tuning in, would have quite genuinely and seriously got the impression some outfit called "Reform" had just won the GE and Nigel Farage was the UK's new Prime Minister. It goes without saying either that Kuensservativeberg was an appalling choice to front it. Both obviously biased and completely lacking gravitas. OK, rant over
