Seems the ward is named after a village called Aqueduct.

I think it refers to a piece of demolished canal infrastructure. I also defy you to find the trench in Trench.

Aqueduct is a village (well, former village really) south east of Little Dawley. The aqueduct it was named for still exists but is no longer an aqueduct.

This ward arguably has more in common with the Cannock Chase constituency which it borders than Lichfield. Surprised there are only two candidates: Con and Lab. One of the main businesses in the ward is the Armitage Shanks factory.

I think it does.

Composition is Con 33, Lab 21, Ind 4, LD 3, Non aligned 3, Green 2 + this vacancy 1.

I’d be surprised if Hexham wasn’t a LD gain. 

An everyone except the Tories coalition does look a bit tricky though.
