According to the local reporter, the LibDems have asked for a recount in Sunderland MBC, Hetton. That's quick. But then it is Sunderland, I suppose. It also does not bode well for our predictions. Most of us anticipated a Labour win with an independent second place. |

From the last election here, the Lib Dems weren't the most obvious challengers. |

Reports that Penrith West is a LibDem GAIN from Conservatives That would not be a massive surprise, we were top of the poll last time but only fielded one candidate for a two member seat. |
