SNP majority here is 5200. There are 7000 Cons, 1500 Lib Dems and 700 Greens.
SNP majority was only 195 in 2017.

I believe this is the first-ever Westminster by-election where the SNP are the defending party. Not a constituency I know very well but I'll try writing up an Almanac entry for it at some point.

I've gone for an SNP hold. I think that's most likely at this stage as I don't think Sarwar's momentum is enough to take it.

What’s the issue with the date? Is it guaranteed to be the week before May 6th? Assuming the SNP think they can hold this they’d want to call it for that week.

North Lanarkshire councillor Kenneth Stevenson has been selected here for Labour. Former MP Pamela Nash was the other candidate on the shortlist.
