No, not at all. Fantastic for D66. They should build on that result for the next four years and really go for the office in 2025. Rutte at that point will be more tired and yesterday's news. Yet after seeing his numbers, he has proven to have staying power. PVV down is a good sign. Wilders though will linger, lick his wounds and come back. Surprised Labour stayed on the same numbers. Even more surprised Green & Socialists went down. FVD going up wasn't expected but still interesting. Good news for Volt. Had to google search BBB to find out who they were. I'm happy. Be good for Dutch farming to get representation.
Predicted Coalition VVD - D66 - CDA (76 Seats). If they want to further their majority, then they will probably bring in CU or Volt depending on what they want to acheive.

But with minor parties bargaining is possible. Rutte loves making deals with small parties and the Left. His party members hate it, but he always gets his way.

D66: 27 zetels (+8) Did anybody see that D66 surge coming? They were polling at 19 and were on the up but that’s way higher than you would have expected.

Given their shambolic result last time (and the clear reason for it), standing still is very embarrassing for Labour. Also a poor result for PVV assuming it’s accurate.

Is he a big europhile? If so, Volt could be about to fast passed into major politics. Otherwise the CU could be back in.

Did anybody see that D66 surge coming? The pundits saw a momentum after the good performance of ite leader in the debates. But not the largeness. 4 years ago i expected D'66 to crash&burn - as always, when they had been in government...

And some of their supporters probably fill the time by clicking on another type of website.

Oh to live in a country where liberal parties come first AND second! Congrats to Rutte. He's very much my kind of liberal - patriotic and realistic liberalism that gets results and keeps the loons locked out. We could learn a lot from him.
