We don't talk about those. Legal action is ongoing. I only saw that headline................ 'Finso's Fat Fibs'. Mmm yes, the claims about weight loss were....unwise.

I have no local knowledge but the Hull local party have a reputation as being among the most impressive campaigning unit in the party. If they say they fancy their chances, you are in trouble.
I have been to Hull a couple of times (but I make a point of not getting involved in speculation of the 'how well are we doing' kind, just deliver the leaflets - so don't ask). What I can say is that the bits I were delivering were pretty grim, and this is from someone who works in Little Horton remember. Also there appears to be no part of the ward that doesn't smell of weed. Little Horton? Garden suburb Nowt compared to Gipton!

Wainbody result: C 1560 LD 634 Lab 544 Brexit 193 Lib Dems second? In Coventry? Not too familiar with the area, is that expected?

Wainbody result: C 1560 LD 634 Lab 544 Brexit 193 Lib Dems second? In Coventry? Not too familiar with the area, is that expected? Not particularly, they hold no seats on the council.

Wainbody result: C 1560 LD 634 Lab 544 Brexit 193 Lib Dems second? In Coventry? Not too familiar with the area, is that expected? The accounts I saw suggested that the Lib Dems and Tories were making a bit of an effort on the campaign trail. The May result was C 1666 Lab 919 Grn 381 LD 312 UKIP 207. This will have included around 300 or 400 votes from the Warwick University campus which is almost certainly more left-wing than the rest of the ward.
