Yes, because the vile Kahanist influence needs to be removed. Extremist Settlers have semi-automatic weapons due to the "Ministry of National Security" set up for the vile Ben-Gvir. An election gets rid of the vicious extremes. |

A call for new Israeli elections Laughable theatre. If Schumer and Biden (there is no way Schumer did this without White House approval) wanted new elections in Israel they would have them. This is a transparent attempt to distance the Democrats from actions that are unpopular with many of their voters. |

Bibi's political career was looking like it was over before October 7th, due to the scandal he was embroiled in. October 7th provided the final nail in the coffin, once it was known that his government ignored intelligence that could have prevented it. The only reason he's still in power is a reluctance to remove the PM in the middle of an active war. |

By the way: Has anyone found material for the recent local elections? I got few on the mayoral races in the main cities, but no try to provide a "national" overView (as difficult as that is for local competitions, of course). Another reason to hope, that rcronald will come back soon... |
