Ban all Israeli Knesset members (allow for exceptions to be applied for as innocent) to be banned from EU territory as accessory to war crimes. No overflight by direct flights from Israel to America.. So direct flights to USA will have to fly via the straits of Gibraltar. Basically make it close to impossible for Israeli warmongers to leave the country. Israel is of course free to send its Ambassador to the UN by boat so we are not disbarring them from the UN.

I am very careful to avoid attacking ordinary Israelis even when I disagree with them. But Israel's actions in occupied or besieged territories are in a fair amount of breach of international law. Surely those who lead that action are more guilty than even the generals far less the infantry. If your party demands human rights abuses you should not be welcome in the civilised world.

Well yes, I share your disdain for Likudists and those (even) further right of them. Any Israeli who thinks they can get away with NEVER giving the Palestinians a state is at best deulsional, and more likely dangerous (to the future of the country they claim to care about, too) But we shouldn't forget that many of Israel's neighbours would happily destroy it tomorrow, given the chance. I'm not sure either side really wants peace at the minute

If I thought it was doable I would break off relations with Saudi faster than that and faster than I would with Iran. Their leadership caste are scum and those wanting to replace them no better.
I admit that my comments are more rhetoric than substance :-(

Reports and rumours abound that turnout is poor in Likud strongholds, despite the high turnout elsewhere. Some people think it may be a devious ploy, but we'll see. Most opposition parties seem pretty happy, with Yesh Atid saying they may have come second and Labor saying there's a chance they might end up heading a government.
Treat all of the above with vast quantities of salt.

Election rumours while polling is still going on deserve the entire road salt stock for the winter ... if some of the above is true, then all the polls and all Election Game predictors are very wrong. The turnout is indeed up, according to the official results site, though. At 8 pm our time we should have exit poll information.
By the way, can anyone find a link to the interactive Google Maps display of the results? maybe it isn't up yet?

I hear that Arab turnout is extremely poor. This could have effects on the Arab parties (and Shas).

One exit poll rumour has Meretz on 8 seats, which would be quite the extraordinary turnaround.

There was also a panicked facebook message from Bibi himself. Which I understand was shared by left-wing parties to encourage more people to vote for them.
