Ack, good thing test posting this here, need to change the caption They won't show you the red or brown bits - unless you're a student of interwar social housing or Bauhaus architecture in which case several of these places will, in fact, be part of your itinerary

Where are those FW spots and is there any obvious reason?

Where are those FW spots and is there any obvious reason? Weißenborn in Hersfeld-Rotenburg Werra-Meißner (one of the smallest municipalities in Hesse at 800 reg'd voters), Eiterfeld (5k) in Fulda, Grebenau (2k) in Vogelsberg. I haven't actually checked but would assume the local mayor was the FW direct candidate or similar - they got 27, 21 and 18 percent of the *direct* vote in these places, topping the poll in Weißenborn.

Edging near the end of this. Volt got over 5% in Darmstadt.

Marburg, Hanau, Gießen. Gießen results incorporate postals using the same model as my Frankfurt precincts do. Others are 'true' results (but note the mergers in Marburg) The way the Richtsberg estate stands out on the edge of that collegetown is just insane

Is this Mid Derbyshire? That's the occasional insanity of Hessian municipal boundaries, I have no idea what Mittelbuchen thinks it's doing being "a neighborhood of Hanau", it's obviously a commuter village just like those east and west of it.

Is this Mid Derbyshire? Or a deranged MerseySide? there are two rivers visible here, but then the same wd be true on a Merseyside map

Story of this election btw: asymmetrical mobilization. Helps explain why the Left and Green strength holds better on the city maps than in the statewide results.

With subaverage declines in the lightest blue. Right.
