All (!) parties agreed to disagree, so to dissolve parliament in late June, what means - 3 months for preparations are demanded by law - an EarlyElection on October the 1st or 8th.

That said, I couldn't see myself vote for SPO, OVP, Greens, or NEOS either. They're all either socialist, authoritarian, or EU fanatics. |

Germany's leftliberal weekly "Die Zeit" ("The Time") reports, that the InnerCircle of the GREENS intend to exchange their leader.
If true, Mrs.Glawischnigg could be replaced by Tyrol's DeputyFM Mrs.Felipe, rather not by Vienna's DeputyMayor Mrs.Vassilakou, certainly not by Salzburg's DeputyFM Mrs.Rössler.

Even she ignored the ongoing election for the StudentsParliament. (A retreat before or after it would have been more helpful for the GREENy students.)

Last SunDay "KronenZeitung" published a poll by IFES (n=1.200), who are very close to SPÖ:

Kurz will present tomorrow MEP Köstinger - a young, pretty specialist for agriculture - as PartyChair<wo>man.
She will be responsible for campaigning, although she has no experience.

She is 38, so hardly young (certainly not compared to Kurz), and seems to have a broad experience. She is the Vice-Chair of Österreichischer Bauernbund, so presumably ÖVP classic. She becomes General Secretary |

In order to make SPÖ&FPÖ more difficult, Vienna's mayor Häupl proposed a referendum of PartyMembers for that case.
The SPÖ-chiefs of BurgenLand, Styria, Carinthia and Tyrol want a vote for any coalition in future.
The FPÖ demanded, that SPÖ conducts it already before the GeneralElection.

Kurz will publish his programme not before autumn, but stated, that he intends to focus on
- security/immigration
- economy
- SocialSecurity
As SPÖ will certainly try to portray him as an arrogant&ignorant&intrigant young prig, Kurz will probably try to counter that.
One position might be to give people a choice between EarlyRetirement or HigherPensions (also favoured by NEOS).

Like FPÖ ÖVP's Kurz wants to reduce the StateQuota - the part of the income collected by "our time's greatest gangster" (BURCKHARDT) - from 43% to 40%. (SCHNITZLER and others were furious, when the late monarchy rose the taxation from 3% to 5%...)
This would cost enormous 12-14 billions, Kurz' only proposal (so far) for financing is to reduce the SocialTransfers to immigrants (providing perhaps 0.5-1 bn).
The debts stand at 83% of the GDP (less those of RailWays,...), SPÖVP hasn't been able to reduce them despite the negative InterestRates.

Even SPÖ-media reported, that a member of Kern's private cabinet in the PM-office pushed a colleague from the party-HQ to the floor.
SPÖ's campaign shall be coordinated not by the party-HQ, but by minister Drozda.
Discussions are within SPÖ whether to concentrate on Kurz or Kern, negative or positive campaigning.
Another problem is, that the PartyManager comes from SPÖ-Vienna, which rejects the idea of SPÖ&FPÖ, while Kern - ironically incoronated by the left wing - obviously intends to be "open".
