Anyone watching "This Week"?
I know it's late and almost the weekend but god I wish they'd stick to politics rather than attempt comedy.

In that case, I'll have to find out tomorrow as I've got to be up early in the morning. Or you could pick the right answer and stay awake until early in the morning... Don't think they'd appreciate me turning up at work as a zombie.

According to reports from Sky turnout in Stoke-on-Trent Central is around 25-30% of the vote. That's some disengagement

What's that as a percentage of the total poll?

That's some disengagement To be fair, having trees falling in streets may lead you to not leaving your home. In Copeland it's around 50%. Worse weather, more rural.

The weather in Stoke today was much worse than it was in Copeland. OK, didn't know that. I was hearing all the horror stories from Copeland so assumed that it was worse there.

Who would have guessed turnout in Stoke Central would be higher than at Sleaford & North Hykeham?

Dimbleby suggests Labour have held Copeland. I don't understand how Dimbleby can predict the result of the Copeland by-election while otherwise engaged presenting a live edition of Question Time. Because he's an idiot with the political awareness of a lemur? He can't possibly know and, more importantly, hasn't got the on the ground contacts to tell him. He's totally out of touch really.

The weather in Stoke today was much worse than it was in Copeland. Yeah, but the polling stations are local whereas they're more than a mile in a lot of Copeland.
