Socialists survive in Ardeche 01 and Ardeche 02. Both candidates were 2-3 points behind REM last Sunday. PCF has won the run off vs FN in Nord 20. PCF is also holding off REM in Seine Maritime 08 (PCF had a 3 points lead in first round) Dominique Potier (PS) re-elected in Meurthe-et-Moselle 05, run off against REM I might laugh at the demise of the PS, but I'd really have loved to see the foul PCF consigned to the oblivion they richly deserve.

Who's the Extreme Droite candidate elected in Vaucluse? And do people really describe themselves as that on the ballot paper?

Who's the Extreme Droite candidate elected in Vaucluse? And do people really describe themselves as that on the ballot paper? Jacques BOMPARD, a former MP for Front National. He resigned from FN in 2005 to create the Ligue du Sud

Is there a site with a clickable map, as I think there was two weeks ago?

So, Macron to only win a convincing majority, instead of a crushing landslide?
If so, probably better for French politics.

Valls re-elected with 51.7%. Actually not yet, it's just the score of Evry, not the whole constituency
NKM defeated.
Myriam El Khomri defeated by LR. Former cabinet minister, PS with Macron's support.
France Insoumise claim to have taken Seine St Denis 01, Seine St Denis 06 (Elisabeth Gouigou's old seat) and Val de Marne 10

Good to see some regionalists elected. I suppose they would've won all 4 seats in Corsica if their man in CdS 1 hadn't missed out by 13 votes in the first round.

According to French anoraks only two FN candidates have an actual chance in the run-off round: MLP (who is a shoo-in) and party vice president Florian Philippot's boyfriend Bruno Bilde, who has fifty-fifty chance. Philippot got less than 25% himself and other heavyweights need a miracle as well. Looks like they will get at least 8. So why was this so far out?

Valls re-elected, but election will be likely annulled. In Corbeil-Essonnes, a recount, held in private without the presence of the FI candidate, found around 150 more votes for Valls.
Valls won by 139 votes.

FI, PCF, PS, LR and FN are all doing better than expected after the first round. The main hypothesis is than they all lended each other votes to have the largest opposition possible.

Yes, getting the 100% and 50% chances + two lucky punches was the max I had anticipated.
