I knew one vegetarian conservative. It was not through choice. He had been raised as a vegetarian by his utopian socialist family. He actually liked meat but his digestive system could not handle it. I worked with another vegetarian who was a conservative party member. He was also a marxist (in a theoretical academic sense). That is he felt Marx's analysis was correct but he obviously did not approve of it!I would consider it not that unlikely. |

I don't believe it! I go away for a week to drive down to Italy. I log on now at end of a drive in from Switzerland...And this is still running!!! Polish Jaffa Cakes are flavoured with cherries. Where else is there a site like this? The world of erudition brought to one's very door. Amazing! And in case anyone thinks I am a lucky sod...It is cool here and I drove through rain squalls for hours. I am lucky though. I know.

Hahah. Now that was on official NW Region duty, so I can confirm (and assure tricky for that matter), that the only thing I had before going to the Ticket Trout to plug Preston South, Valleys of Ribble and Lune, Rossendale and Ramsbottom and all the rest was two cups of tea and a bacon butty..... |
