41.5% turnout in Windermere - when was the last turnout over 40% in a local by-election? I seem to recall the GE turnout in Westmorland and Lonsdale was one of the highest in the north of England? It seems Farron enthuses people to vote, at least!

Sounds like something out of "Game of Thrones" are they related? By the way in Welsh " Cant" means 100 and " tref" means town, so could " Cantrefi" mean 100 towns.. or am I just guessing?
