As Pete Whitehead rightly said, this thread was created for maps concerning this year's GE and that only. Any chance that the extraneous posts can be moved to the Pretty Maps thread, stb12?

This thread was made for UK-wide results. So it should be limited to maps of the whole UK, now that I think about it. It also isn't a thread, but a sub-thread within the London section so only London results should go into that thread. It should be a sub-thread of the Pretty Maps thread. If you want pedantry, I'm here for it.

It is only fair to let our mods be the judge here, wouldn't you agree.

A map of an early 1970s Brighton/Hove election was posted here by sanders. It completely has its place, but arguably not on this particular thread in this particular section. EDIT: the posts in question have now been moved to their rightful abode, just in case anyone who is uninitiated gets confused by the above.

The old Borough of Hackney (1945-60s). Hackney Downs going Tory one election. The ward has some decent housing. Not shocking that the Tories won. Culford is now marginal De Beauvoir.

New England as it used to be. Still, Nixon only won NH and VT in 1968. New England voted to the left of the USA in 1972 (57-42 vs 61-37).
