I am just finishing the Wiki page for Glasgow's election this year. Then I can be all yours (I've done Highland and Nan Eilian anananan Siar) How come you've not had the problems I have been having? I have tried three times to start a Ceredigion Local Elections Wiki page since the start of March and every time it's been deleted as "This event has not been scheduled" or "The event is in the future"

I wonder if anyone has seen the new Vision of Britain site, Old Maps Online? As well as having most of the boundary maps on Vision of Britain, it also has a large number of 1960s OS maps, and the ones from 1968 have the wards delineated for boroughs and urban districts. Hours of fun. They don't have the 1968 ones for Lancashire Not too surprised really as I think they are still in copyright.

Dudley 2011. Gornal is 2C/1Lab and the Conservatives are defending in May. Lye and Stourbridge North is 2Lab/1C and the Conservatives are defending in May. 2011 map: Does this mean that at a general election Coventry South would vote Conservative (despite the fact that it voted Labour in 2010)?

Does this mean that at a general election Coventry South would vote Conservative (despite the fact that it voted Labour in 2010)? Binley & Willenhall... St Michael's...? Nay, lad, nay. Now give me a Coventry West as Pete Whitehead always wanted, and we'll talk. Although given it was a 3,000 margin last year and a 6,000 one in 2010, I'd be interested to know what's going on...

Perhaps all the students came out to vote in 2010. Turnout in Wainbody (the ward which covers the Warwick University campus) was noticeably high.

What is this 6,000 margin of which you speak? It was less than 2,000 in 2010 in the local elections in the ward making up Coventry South nearer 4,000 in the General election of course
