If that poll is accurate, it's extremely interesting to see how things have changed since 2011: - The Danish People's Party vote has gone up by nearly two-thirds. - The Social Liberals and Socialist People's Party have taken a battering for being in government (and in the case of the latter, for being incompetent). - Red Johanne's Commie Gang have made marginal gains.
Given that the votes for Venstre, Social Democrats and Liberal Alliance are holding up, it looks to me like there is direct switching going on from the liberal Left and hard Left to the hard Right. Anyone see it differently?

Also looks like Venstre continue to kill off the Conservatives.

Two other polls done at basically the same time are less rightwards fwiw, though the general pattern is much the same.

Also looks like Venstre continue to kill off the Conservatives. 3% of the vote really is spectacularly bad..... Could they be wiped out entirely? Looking at past results, they almost always came second in the national vote until the mid-90s. I wonder what caused the long term decline - Venstre swinging to the right? Hard to say- I'd imagine the rot set in under Poul Schluter. Then much as you say, Venstre started to dominate the mainstream Right, and became the home for all of those looking for economic liberalism (including a lot of the Progress Party, forerunners to the DPP). Then, the DPP started to peel off the social conservatives. Finally, the Liberal Alliance took a lot of their centrist support. I suspect they will hang on in there, though. I wonder if the Social Liberals and the Liberal Alliance will merge at some point.

According to Wikipedia he made the move years ago. It is an interesting rightward drift across the spectrum.

The Conservatives still have a powerful presence in local government, particularly in the more affluent parts of Greater Copenhagen, which guarantees survival of a sort. I wonder if the Social Liberals and the Liberal Alliance will merge at some point. Why would they? The Social Liberals are basically the Politiken editorial line party.

Have you not heard of Google Translate? I studied Modern Languages- Google Translate is an affront to all I hold dear! (and it's also very difficult for a machine to translate anything properly)

It'd be a case of the Liberal Alliance folding into the Social Liberals. There's no obvious point to the Liberal Alliance other than as a dustbin for annoyed chancers with an axe to grind, notably Anders Samuelsen. It's managed to find a middle ground betweeen Venstre and the Social Liberals, which nobody really needed to fill!

Indeed, she is Red Johanne to whom I referred earlier. Wouldn't vote for her in a million years but she's a proper conviction politician.
They're missing a trick if they don't sing "Gimme Hope, Johanne" at party rallies.
