To be fair, Benita has only just been selected and has yet to establish much of a profile. Berry is already an Assembly member. Given recent Lib Dem vs Green by election results in London, Berry's lead may not last all the way. But we shall see. this isn't Benita's first outing in London Mayoral elections. Yes Sian does have some recognition as an assembly member but how much is questionable

Building up a profile as the LD candidate is the important bit.

Of course we are still a while out from the Mayoral poll, and Sian isn't yet confirmed as our candidate, although I suspect its a formality.

My mind cannot cope with any more of these opinion poll numbers. I am going to lie down with some cold wet towels round my head.

Fascinating to see how this poll is being spun by Brexit Party supporters. Have seen the poll tweeted without Labour on it and presented as a big swing to Leave, even though it is a smaller share than the total who voted to leave in London.

I was commenting on the claim of a big swing to Leave which is, from the polling evidence they were quoting, palpable nonsense.

It will kill the Chukas for a start (as already happened in the Westminster voting intention)

You’re assuming all the reduced Labour vote there is remain when it is probably disproportionately less likely to be so given how well the Lib Dems are doing. Especially in a place like London with a high BAME population - who are more likely to contain a contingent of people who vote Leave and then stay loyal to Labour.

Nope, just commenting on the dubious claims based on manipulating a poll.

That's a depressing poll! What does Sadiq Khan actually need to do to lose a big chunk of his vote share? He's doing much worse than Livingstone and Johnson at this stage I'd say. I'm not surprised that Bailey's struggling but I thought the LDs would be much higher than 11%.

That would be the biggest majority for a London mayor yet, I think.

No wonder Sian Berry was acting all rattled the other day, running fifth behind not only us but CHUK 😊

Has Chuka said he's going to stand for Mayor or are they just trolling ?
