yes, it's her son timbearder.eu/He's also the Tim Bearder who is a candidate in the West Midlands Euro list. Another son Ian Bearder is also active (SE Euro list and former Oxford city candidate) while her husband Simon stood in a hopeless Oxfordshire county division last May.

You've only just noticed??? It's always been like that. Of course, I've always known; it still continues to aggravate me. If NF, BNP, BDP, EDL, NLP and all the others merged or, at least, formed some kind of electoral pact, we'd be doing far better. I wouldn't bank on it. If there are anything like 500 "nationalist" activists still operating in the whole country I'd be surprised. Mercifully you have no electorate.

On 9 February 2012, Darren Campbell (Lab) gained a seat in West ward, following the disqualification of Ian Womersley (Independent), for failing to attend a meeting in six months. He was caring for his sick wife and later grieving for her, following her death.
Another vacancy is pending in Kinsley ward, following the resignation of Peter Hardacre (Independent).

Many thanks for these Listener, much appreciated.
I noted this in your Hemsworth summary:
"On 9 February 2012, Darren Campbell (Lab) gained a seat in West ward, following the disqualification of Ian Womersley (Independent), for failing to attend a meeting in six months. He was caring for his sick wife and later grieving for her, following her death."
Is there any flexibility in the 6 month rule? It does seem harsh disqualifying him in those circumstances.
Also, do you happen to know the names of the candidates in the Witham and Bradford-on-Avon seats? Witham is a town we have historically done well in, so I'd be interested in knowing who our candidate is. Bradford-on-Avon is very strongly Lib Dem (despite having a road with the wonderfully one word name of 'Tory'), but is a town we have hopes of progressing in, so it's a shame we don't have a candidate there.

The candidates in Witham South are Andrea Bunn (Green Party), Barry Fleet (Lib Dem), Paul Heath (Lab) and Sandra Howell (Con). Barry Fleet has twice been town mayor of Witham and Sandra Howell is a former Braintree District Councillor.
The candidates in Bradford on Avon North are Fiona Best (Lib Dem), Victoria Ody (Independent Bradford Born Accountant) and Mike Roberts (Con). Mike Roberts failed to win a town council seat in Bradford on Avon South in May 2013.

On a principal authority, a councillor can be granted a dispensation if they have missed meetings for a good reason. It's up to the authority to decide how they are granted - can be an executive decision or a majority vote of the council - so they are sometimes politically biased. Don't remember exactly how it works on parish level; may be up to the district as well.

Dudley turnout looks like 19.42% compared to 25.94% in 2012 - hence around 1,900 votes to count.

Rumours coming out of Coseley say it's close between Labour and UKIP, with the BNP in third and the Conservatives having a meltdown. UKIP seem to have thrown the kitchen sink at this byelection.

Labour win by 37 votes in North-Oxford. Apparently it's LD second. So not a bad result for them in current times.
