Yes, they probably do. They hate each other far more than they hate anyone else. And the BNP haven't stood since 2010, while the NF stood last year, so I expect they think they were entitled to a free run at it.

Yes, they probably do. They hate each other far more than they hate anyone else. And the BNP haven't stood since 2010, while the NF stood last year, so I expect they think they were entitled to a free run at it.

Of course, I've always known; it still continues to aggravate me. If NF, BNP, BDP, EDL, NLP and all the others merged or, at least, formed some kind of electoral pact, we'd be doing far better.

It's not quite that simple, as the BNP candidate in this by-election appears to be the same person who stood for the NF here in 2012.

Well, that's the problem with thinking that what we really need is a Fuhrer - you have to first agree who the Fuhrer should be.

Curiouser and curiouser said Alice - but it doesn't entirely invalidate my point.


 If this guy has left the NF for the BNP (when most defections were in the opposite direction), he really will have a sense of entitlement to stand and so will the NF. No backing down on either side. Nationalist "unity" as far away as ever.
