Ensemble says their candidates in third position will withdraw if the NFP candidate qualified share "les valeurs de la république"
So they will withdraw to support Ruffin but they will maintain in the 2nd round against Raphaël Arnault.

Sarthe Marie Caroline Le Pen 39.26% NFP 25.94% ENS 25-88% The ENS candidate was mocking M-C Le Pen this week as a blow-in with no local support.

Also ex LFI Danielle Simonnet leading the official NFP candidate. By around 20 points in this case.

Lots of long faces in the French TV studios. Clearly France, like Britain, has a big divide between the cultural elite and the people

Has anyone spotted any departments with a clean sweep in the first round?
Aisne has returned 4 RN in the first round, with one seat yet to declare.
On highest percentages (ignoring the Dom-Toms), has anyone found one higher than 60.61 per cent for the RN in Pas-de-Calais 10eme?

Whatever happens next week one thing is pretty clear. Macron has essentially obliterated the parliamentary group of his own party. You have to ask the question, just what the hell was he thinking?
