To the best of my memory, the local pact in Dyfed in 1992 was something for which the local branch of the Green Party did not seek, and certainly did not receive, official endorsement. What was on the ballot paper? Cynog Dafis's description was "Plaid Cymru - Gwyrdd/Green".

This was a very impressive result for Plaid. Especially considering they only won the seat in 2017 after several recounts.
Both Ceredigion Preseli and Dwyfor Meirionydd seem to be the safest seats in Wales, with no obvious challenger in either seat.
I wonder if Mark Williams will finally give up and move on to brighter and better things

I wonder if Mark Williams will finally give up and move on to brighter and better things I should think we're very happy to get second, even if it we really stood still. But I agree that as noble as it is from MW to keep trying it might be time for him to call it a day.

It feels as if the LibDems will struggle to rebuild here. Do they have any targets in Wales outside of Brecon and Radnorshire? Ok showing in Cardiff East along with a couple of active Councillors on Cardiff Council

Ok showing in Cardiff East along with a couple of active Councillors on Cardiff Council No meaningful targets, but two second places are better than nothing, even if they're on low vote shares. The only other places that we got into double figures were Swansea West (third, 12%) and Montgomeryshire & Glyndwr (fourth, 15%).
