Did you subtract £90 from the £100 to make £10, just to make my question look silly? I demand compensation for my trauma. I blame Piers Corbyn. If not, then you should have accepted the money when they were still offering £100 There was a typo in my original post where I wrote £100 instead of £10, which I corrected before you wrote this post. Hope this makes sense to you. Yes it does now, but it didn’t before you corrected it You should still have accepted the £100 though

Neil is 44. Neil is going to use his 40 years of medical networking to improve the NHS.
Neil was very precocious in nursery.

I am now into delivering in Hawkhurst for Mike Martin - I tend to work in the weaker bits of relatively high profile constituencies.Hawkhurst and Sandhurst one of the TW wards the Lib Dems failed to take. Horrible place for delivering though- each house up lots of stairs, very stiff letterboxes for newspaper style election material. Maybe at the weekend I might move on to other hard to do villages like Horsmonden or Matfield. Even so, the only posters I've seen in Hawkhurst are LD stakeboards.

There's a pub there called The Poet, I think. I forget which village. And then another good one called the Vineyard but that might be further away?

Ah, one of my ancestral home wards (where most of my direct maternal line ancestors were born for the last 300 years).

I have now moved on from Hawkhurst after 2 days delivering there, and today have been delivering Horsmonden. Bit of a shock. I know I have said I concentrate on the weaker bits of our target seats, which is something badly needing doing, but it can knock your confidence a bit. I didn't really expect Horsmonden to be unlike everywhere else I have been this election, to have quite a few posters up including some real monsters.Even less did I expect them all to be Labour. Horsmonden is a bit of a funny place I've always thought, a bit away from the rest of the world, but never before have I had that so convincingly demonstrated. It was also the first place I have encountered Labour leafletters working the same streets as me. Yesterday was the first sign of any non-LD workers out and about when I had shared a leafletting round in Hawkhurst with the Tories.Still no sign of any Reformers or Greens on the ground at all in either of the constituencies I have been working.I did see one Reform leaflet yesterday somebody's recycling box, so presumably a RM freepost had been delivered. In my own constituency still no sign of anything at all beyond Tory and LDs and that includes RM deliveries.

I may have to look for another username, my ability to be disgusted has been found lacking with the announcement of this result. I deeply apologise

It's worth following the LD candidate @threshedthought on Twitter for his Ukraine content as well Still looking through the bios of new MPs (so many I may never finish), but Martin might very well be the LibDems' most impressive addition. The sort of person who should immediately become a minister if they ever enter government again. For now, would love him to eventually take the Defence or Foreign Office portfolio.
