You could snowboard down this thread. It's perhaps too late for this, I wonder if we could/should utilise this sign at the required moments:

I said I'd refrain from commenting on this thread until after the election, but I went canvassing for Feinstein yesterday (in the Regents Park Estate just off Hampstead Road). Here's what we found: two Labour voters; two voters who'd already returned postal votes for Mr Feinstein; two Green voters (one of whom I persuaded to vote Feinstein as the best 'green' pick to beat Sir Keir); one Green who we couldn't sway; 0 Lib Dem voters; only one hostile voter who told us to fuck off. We found solid Feinstein support among British Bangladeshi and British Somali households, If you only found 8 people who gave an indication of their voting intentions ... how did you establish "solid Feinstein support" among two communities?

There was one from each community 100% support.

I think he means that he got solid 100% support from 2 people, and not from the other 6.

If nothing else hopefully this election will stick a pitchfork into the crank left standing as independents and deluding themselves.
The more astute ones have already orchestrated a mass entryist raid into the Green Party where they will spend a few years hollowing out the governance structures in order to control the party (see Scotland).

We canvassed over 200 people, knocking up about three or some buildings on the Regent's Park Estate.

I congratulate @weld in taking part. It's important candidates and their supporters go out and meet people. However the sample is extremely small beer though I'm not surprised at all by "solid Feinstein support among British Bangladeshi and British Somalians" and "We found little enthusiasm for Labour"

Leftists who join the Greens tend to be the type who want to share the political experience with others. This type are more the kind who can't play nicely with the other children.

It's canvassing Jim, but not as we know it.

Or is it merely an ignorance of what the political term 'knocking up' means. Please, please don't try a sexual innuendo joke.

It could well be that it is a knock-up exercise and they're reminding their own supporters that it's election week in order to firm them up. From all the info and stats given so far that's exactly what it seems to be. Of course that in turn means that that figures that seemed really impressive but unverified are actually dreadful because they should be 100% in favour.

We were working Primrose Hill yesterday, which we reckon will be Feinstein's toughest ward (too many fucking Tories, IMHO). A fair few hooray henries calling us filthy lefties (I've dealt with far worse). Still, we ran into Brian Cox, which was a good surprise. About half of the people weren't interested in an Andrew Feinstein leaflet, but many were, and you saw quite a few younger voters stop in the street to read about Andrew. There are bucketloads of hostility to Starmer, just like in St Pancras & Somers Town and Holborn & Covent Garden, but not nearly as much.

I am not over touchy on this subject but there is a Forum protocol on the matter of using familiar or real names for all members without express consent. This has been raised with you before and you have been asked not to do it. I don't think you should be doing it as it feels like a form of trolling.
