I notice David Gauke and Rory Stewart have endorsed Bagge in a couple of videos. Unfortunate collateral damage!

I notice David Gauke and Rory Stewart have endorsed Bagge in a couple of videos. I'm not sure that'll make a great deal of difference tbh. It would indicate that there are links to currents within the wider Conservative movement, including within the party. As well as some higher profile endorsements to come that may mean money and, very importantly in a campaign like this, advice. Losing Truss would be a big scalp for Centrist Tories.

I notice David Gauke and Rory Stewart have endorsed Bagge in a couple of videos. There will be more. I think Anne Robinson is a lifelong Labour voter.

Well Alan Clark offered to fast track her as a Tory MP (he may of course, had an ulterior motive) and the Conservatives approached her to be a candidate for London Mayor. Oh, and she is a hunt supporter.
"I view politics as others view football. I love the game while being healthily contemptuous of almost all politicians"
She did know Michael Foot and Jill Craigie quite well though.

The Tories looked at supporting Greg Dyke with the Lib Dems, and the Lib Dems pulled out. This was before winning with Boris. I thought I'd read her saying she'd always voted Labour. I could be wrong.

That is why many of us loathe the One Nation lefty wet centrists. They feel their small clique has a divine right to triumph. and if necessary they will totally shaft a Conservative candidate by any means just to make a point or to exclude them, as they have with innumerable working class chavs for being far too patriotic, right wing, Brexit, coarse, and anti their fashionista garbage projects, like renewables, carbon zero, multiculturalism, right to buy, covid hysteria, global warming hysteria, anti-fossil fuels hysteria, EU-philia, pro-Americanism, pro-Global Capitalism and anti-Russian sentiment. They are a bunch of utter bastards far more damaging to Britain than the LDs or Labour put together. They need to be smashed and excised from politics forever. Only a few days ago you were railing against chav culture and dress sense. Now you want to protect and cuddle them.

He and his sounder brother were treated shockingly in 2009, but that was CCHQ and not Truss. However his Twitter hate stream is certainly not the epitome of conduct a gentleman would be proud of. And his whole proposition is being further above the salt than Truss.

Anne Robinson used to be on the Mirror & certainly was Labour but I think you'd have to go back a few elections to the last time she so voted.

His brother is Sir (John) Jeremy Picton Bagge, 7th Baronet, a major Norfolk landowner and both have been High Sheriffs of Norfolk.
