37% turnout according to BBC's live feed. Based on my experience earlier I'm not massively surprised

Reform + Con > Labour won't calm any Tory jitters.
Congratulations red team - I suspect that was harder work than it looked.

Nasty Tory campaign gets a nasty Tory result.

Nasty Tory campaign gets a nasty Tory result. I’ve noted the odd reference to a negative Tory campaign. Any specifics?

Even though we won, I feel that the (relative) narrowness of the result justifies my earlier pessimism. Certainly today it felt like harder work than it looked from outside

Wow almost 11% for Reform Wow a saved deposit for the Greens - a bit of a ‘Bristol effect’ here?

Is the Reform UK the highest % ever? Yes, if you count the Reform Party as being different from the Brexit Party

Yet again the declaration of the result of a by-election was spoiled by squawking morons who think that it is more important for us to hear them celebrating than to hear the numbers being announced. When I become Dictator of the World, the only people allowed to attend election counts will be pedantic autistic psephologists and statisticians who correctly recognise that listening to the declaration and writing down the numbers is more important than celebrating the winner - or at least, people who understand that those two things should be done at separate times, not both at the same time.
