Ian Yuill is apparently the new Lib Dem leader on ACC. Are all group AGMs happening this now Fraser?

That's a shame - they might keep the National FRont from last place.

He stood in Almond ward in Edinburgh last year, getting 145 votes (1.7%) and finishing last. Has he moved or could they not find anybody more locally?

Thanks for reminding me Fraser! I remember coming face to face with Mr McDonald whilst leafleting in Sheddocksley - an almost surreal exchange in the end, which I cannot do justice in print/cyberspace. Anyone willing to predict a victor and margin as yet?

Anyone willing to predict a victor and margin as yet? Barring the shock Green win.. I'll go for Mark McD (SNP) with a majority of 15% ( down 12% pts from 27% in '11)

I am going to predict a win for SNP with a lower Majority than the 2011 now sure by how much though.. I also predict Labour to do less well than projected and Conservatives to do slightly better than expected

I I mean what the general public think.. Everyone here seems to think that it will be between SNP and Labour so my general prediction is that Conservatives will do better than what a lot of people here have said.. Maybe I used the wrong words upon re reading what I wrote.. I guess I should of said that based on 2011 figures my bad

I was out canvassing again tonight getting a much better reception than national poling figures would suggest we should be getting. Aye, but then again you could almost get me considering a Tory vote

This list of candidates clearly shows that the Scottish far left are dead in the water,oh well, I am sure the Proletariat will struggle on.

Have the Lib Dems misjudged catastrophically by not selecting Sheila Thompson and thus passing up the chance to hoover up Brian Adams Mormon vote? These and other QTWTAINs are keeping me from the housework. There can't be that many Mormons in a single parliamentary constituency surely... Going up for the first time next Saturday with a carload from Cumbernauld so will be interesting to see the feeling on the ground.

Out of pointless curiosity, does anybody know which out of Scottish Nationalism and Mormonism came first for Brian Adam? It's not two things that I would really expect to go together, but if I'm honest, I don't think I've ever knowingly met a Scottish (or British for that matter) Mormon.
