Johnson's personal numbers obviously took a hit over the situation with Cummings. This 7 point jump is probably just some of that unwinding.

Possible but tbh I don't think Johnson has personally had a good week for some time now - and I suspect some taint of both Jenrick and of the unfortunate beach scenes following immediately on from his moves to relax lockdown to have a minor effect in the next polls - so I find a leap of 7 points a bit surprising i.e. suspect until such time as we see it replicated in several pollsters.

What does statistical noise sound like on slack water?

Given the massively leading question, that's quite a positive result for the HS2 policy

The estimates I've seen of the HS2 journey times between London and Birmingham have all said it would be around 1 hour (saving just under a third of the current journey time, as opposed to nearly halving it with the 45 minute figure).

Comparing with the last YouGov before lockdown: Sadiq Khan (Lab) no change Shaun Bailey (C) +2 Generic Lib Dem +8 Sian Berry (GP) +2 Rory Stewart (Ind) –13 so.... an unnamed lib dem candidate does significantly better than a named one.
Rory Stewart's ratings damaged by lockdown you'd have to guess.

Rory Stewart's ratings were damaged by him pulling out of the race so not being an option in the poll.
It seems the bulk of his supporters went to the Lib Dems, but not all of them.
