Llanbadarn Fawr (Sulien) Matthew Woolfall-Jones (PC) 186 Michael Chappell (LD) 93 Richard Layton (Lab) 15 Doing much better than the council's official Twitter feed I say. Right, vote share and change on 2017: Plaid Cymru: 63.27% (-7.36% on 2017) Liberal Democrats: 31.63% (+16.29% on 2017) Labour: 5.10% (-3.63% on 2017) Greens: 0.00% (-5.29% on 2017) Plaid Cymru HOLD with a majority of 93 (31.63%) on a swing of 11.83% from Plaid to Lib Dem Plaid result is clearly from the fact that the sitting Plaid councillor was a very popular figure, but it would appear that the "B****** to Brexit" campaign by the Lib Dems is attracting Labour voters so therefore although this is a local by-election, it's clear that the next general election in Ceredigion will be a straight fight between Plaid and the Lib Dems, with the Conservative halving, that half that splits going to Brexit, the Labour vote will fall and split between the Lib Dems and Plaid making it too close to call between the two of them).

I mean, I'm not disappointed with how we did, but with the student vote mostly absent I'd suggest that we're not really getting a true reading this time here.

LD landslide in east sheen Strange isn't the election taking place in North Sheen? As ever I can't tell if this a bad joke or genuine ignorance.

LD landslide in east sheen Good Lib Dem result but I wouldn’t put it in land slide territory. It is by East Sheen standards (only Conservative ward in the borough in 1986 for example - the Lib Dems had never won a seat in the ward before last May and then only scraped one)

DAVENTRY Brixworth HARRIS, Jonathan William (Liberal Democrats) 817 HARRINGTON-CARTER, Lauryn Louise (Conservative) 615 COE, Stuart Matthew (Labour) 218 I know the Tory candidate was very young and out of ward but still that’s a result worth shouting about.
