I really should launch Opium Polling for real. I might even get clients.

Latest poll:
Lab 36 Con 27 UKIP 22 LibDem 7
Unlike the latest YouGov, taken *after* Cameron's humiliation over Juncker. FWIW.

Not too surprising, given that they only had around 100 respondents giving a voting intention for each seat. About the only thing I'd be inclined to ascribe credence to is the significantly higher UKIP support in Thurrock than elsewhere, because it backs up the Ashcroft poll. The correspondingly lower results in the East Midlands don't fit with the Goodwin-Ford thesis, and like all evidence that contradicts that will no doubt be roundly ignored.

I did note your rather magnificent comment on LabourList regarding this topic the other day I mean, seriously, Ashfield?? There's still a very significant LibDem vote there, for a start.......

Labour List and to a much greater extent Labour Uncut appear to be run by people with an optimistic outlook equivalent to that of Private James Frazer and C-3PO.

Labour List and to a much greater extent Labour Uncut appear to be run by people with an optimistic outlook equivalent to that of Private James Frazer and C-3PO. The difference between Labourlist and Labour Uncut is that Labourlist actually want Labour to win, whereas Uncut want Labour to lose. So Mark Ferguson is a Private Frazer, but Rob Marchant and Atul Hatwaddle are actually sunny optimists. Is there really someone called Atul Hatwaddle? I do hope so.

Actual name is Atul Hatwal.

Lab 32% (-3) Con 28% (-4) UKIP 21% (+6) LD 10% (+3) Isn't this is an Opinium poll, not a Survation poll?
