it is as at thius stage we have no indication of which other party will stand. Look at the multitude of anti EU parties last time for example will we see the same numbers again or gather around UKIP
For me as long as we finish a few % above Tories I will be quite happy at that, would be happier if we break 30%.

It really isn't - there's always been a multitude of parties, and there's nothing to suggest there won't be this election (and even if UKIP were to draw votes away from the other anti-EU options, 0% Others is still nonsense).

At the very least, I would expect the English Dems, Christians and a left wing list of some sort who should all get at least 1%.

Looked at the EU election wiki and the people that 'run' it are very odd and refuse to put up polling figures for anyone other than Lab/Con/UKIP/LD

There was originally a table including the usual 'Others' as well, but that's now been replaced.

Survation is the only polling company that prompts UKIP, IIRC.

I wonder what the outcome would have been had Survation not prompted UKIP in their voting intention question, as thetop has said they are the only polling company to do.

There's perennial problems with UKIPpers who demand Nigel Farage is added to the Next UK General election article, based on the recent opinion polls etc. I have, to date, successfully fought off their insistence.

What a noble fight you have undertaken Dok... Perhaps you hope he'll resign his seat if he gets elected too?

Put simply it is a load of bo****ks. Whether its in place of something else specifically I am not sure although I can't think of anything obvious in that bit of alphabet.

Thanks erlend. Obviously I realised without assistance that it was bollocks. I was wondering if it was in place of something else specifically, or whether there was some other explanation

Ok taken a little look. A couple near to that swing exist in the Bs. But not exactly for either Hall Green or Bristol S. And as the amended article says they weren't next anyway.
