That leaflet is terrible. There are bars of colour which aren't misleading? Like all good by-elections, the Yellow team are in second!

I still find it bizarre that she just didn't accept the fine for speeding. Unfortunately, we see this in politics (and other "important" roles) at all different levels and from right across the political spectrum: quite a number of individuals see themselves as too important to be constrained by the "petty" rules that "ordinary" people need to follow. I suspect "swopping points" or fabricating "Who was driving" responses span all classes.

There are bars of colour which aren't misleading? What I notice about their bars of colour is how they match up to the tones associated with Conservative, Labour, LD and UKIP presumably the green bar is on the other side?

Delivering to your own street isn't bizarre, but putting your own leaflet through your own front door seems a waste of time and energy.

That leaflet is terrible. Sssh! Don't tell them. It's also probably in the wrong thread as it's a leaflet for the council elections, isn't it?

She won’t stand down. The recall petition will I imagine fail. It will be interesting at least. Which may all be irrelevant depending on what the Judge decides ...

"So why are we having a by-election then?" "Erm...don't look at that man behind the curtain!"

That email looks a bit weird ngl. Emails are usually signed off by a person not just the region. I've not had an email though it would be perhaps harder to get to Peterborough from Sheffield.

She won’t stand down. The recall petition will I imagine fail. It will be interesting at least. On the bontrary, I think that the circumstances are such that she will probably get a sentence of more than one year, and even if she doesn't, then the recall process will work. The recall petition against Ian Paisley only just fell short of the 10% threshold, and this case is much more serious. The Labour Party and Conservative Party both have the motive actively to mobilise their activists to collect the necessary signatures.

If Labour campaigns for the petition it should not be too difficult they probably have 7,000 postal voters signed up. It would be part of their campaign to win Peterborough again. Hopefully this time with a honest candidate

Can we chalk FO as another one of those Labour MPs who was touted by the party as utterly brilliant and then everyone pretends they never really thought much of her at all?

I think the standard that she was being compared against primarily was that of Stewart Jackson, though that's hardly a high bar to surpass...
