The return of Stewart Jackson? Not for the Tories, they've already selected a new PPC, haven't they?

Confirmed as the Rochdale of the Fens. Time to remove its franchise.

Fiona Onasanya will almost certainly have to resign in practice, since perverting the course of justice generally carries an automatic prison sentence in the UK.

This could be a Brexit byelection, but we have no sentence yet If there is one and if the Conservatives gained the seat, Labour would really have to ask itself some very serious questions. Too many unknowns though.

What I don't get is why lie about a minor speeding charge?

What I don't get is why lie about a minor speeding charge? Dunno, how many points did she have already? If she was on 9 points, I can (sort of) see a motivation. IIRC, Chris Huhne was on 9 points when committing the same offence. And he was wrong, too.

She had no points on her licence at the time. Unbelieveable ... all for 3 miserable penalty points and a £100 (or whatever it is this week) fine. She wasn't even gunning it very hard, not that a Micra would allow that kind of driving.

If we are baselessly speculating about former MPs standing, then I would point out that Helen Clark backed Corbyn in the 2016 leadership election...

What I don't get is why lie about a minor speeding charge? Stupidity? Arrogance? A feeling that she is above the law? Probably all of the above.

Hard to see how there will not be a by election now. A prison sentence is likely and would lead to a recall petition being triggered if she doesn't resign. As this is a marginal seat, it would be surprising not to see a organised effort to get signatures.
Here is the 2017 result for reference
Labour Fiona Onasanya 22,950 48.1% +12.5 Conservative Stewart Jackson 22,343 46.8% +7.1 Liberal Democrat Beki Sellick 1,597 3.3% -0.4 Green Fiona Radić 848 1.8% -0.8

She could have taken a speed awareness course and got no points at all. That too. Clearly she was not well-advised about her best course of action. Millions of people have taken these courses, it's no disgrace to anyone.
