The Tories gaining this would be something.
Having said that, Labour suffered a hefty swing against them in Lewisham East.
It depends if UKIP stand.
But then again, the demographics are getting worse for the Conservatives in seats like this.

Could we have a poll on the result, please?

People seem to be getting a bit overexcited. There is absolutely no sign of a Conservative gain in Peterborough. Even if you thought the Tories would take the seat in a general election (a questionable proposition in itself), a gain in a by-election is another question entirely.
A fairly healthy swing to Labour should probably be expected.

It is not even certain that there will be a byelection. Fiona Onasanya is entitled to appeal.

Dunno, how many points did she have already? If she was on 9 points, I can (sort of) see a motivation. IIRC, Chris Huhne was on 9 points when committing the same offence. And he was wrong, too. She had no points on her licence at the time. Even more inexplicable then. (I don't get it in the Huhne example either, a relative of mine got a ban on the points system; she just had to use taxis and trains for a bit - a pain in the arse, but entirely her own fault, and she could afford the fares. Surely a MP, with an office manager and so on, could get by for a few months using a driver, taxis and so on.) Ought to resign her seat on stupidity grounds, really.

She had no points on her licence at the time. Unbelieveable ... all for 3 miserable penalty points and a £100 (or whatever it is this week) fine. She wasn't even gunning it very hard, not that a Micra would allow that kind of driving. Or £100, zero points, and an afternoon lecture. (disclaimer: I've done one)

Unless she knows in her heart of hearts that she is innocent. I can only believe she is, otherwise she would have surely taken the slap on the wrist that was on offer. There was no incentive not to.

I would say the opposite. Her career is over regardless so she has nothing to lose dragging things out as long as possible.

She could have taken a speed awareness course and got no points at all. I think I read that she’d already done one recently, and they are not typically offered twice.

There is already talk that the Labour candidate in any byelection would be likely to be Lisa Forbes - candidate in 2015, who didn't apply for 2017 as she was in the middle of moving house.

What I don't get is why lie about a minor speeding charge? Stupidity? Arrogance? A feeling that she is above the law? Probably all of the above. Seems like your typical MP as far as I can see.
