It's so much rubbish from Labour activists, who have clearly been told to send tweets pretending that there's a genuine panic going on.
it's no surprise that there's been nothing like this all month until one day before.
Labour are utter shyte at by-election campaigns.

Yes it is, it's one big orchestrated double bluff by Labour. Clearly an email has been sent out in the last 24 hours because we've gone - as Andrea of this forum has noticed - from no tweets at all to a day filled with "O NOE, PANIC"

I don't know the details of the control (although I seem to recall it provoked whining about how it was secured), but Pickles's Bradford was a fairly high profile administration in its time, and subsequently was a standard example of a Conservative council clashing with a Conservative Westminster government. A fair and balanced look (ahem!) at the Pickles administration. Although useless as an impartial account, it at least puts events into order and names to faces etc. Thanks for that, I had the book but haven't been able to find it for ages

It's just a minor panic, with no greater significance but that it's one of the dwindling number of occasions when Lib Dem activists can scrape together a justification to feel smug. I somehow doubt the declaration will be another one of those occasions.

They were both written by somebody called Helen Pidd, in this instance.

It's times like this that make me wish for the glory days of the Loonies when they did so well at taking the protest vote serious parties like UKIP, the Greens and BNP would opt out of contests rather than risk polling lower.

I think that's the wrong logo - didn't the Continuing SDP use a modified version with a tick? (An image doesn't appear easy to locate online.)

you can only tell if someone at the stations could confirm whether or not these actually voted ?
because the one indication from the selection that it was far from a real battle and the favourite won easy ...
at least puts flavour into it a little
would heads of families really listen to sons for example ?

I always said that the only think that could cause me to vote Galloway was to stop the BNP. I would hope that this is hype and he comes nowhere close.
