Someone should say thanks to The Bishop for faithfully keeping us up-to-date with these figures (even if they are ruddy awful at present).
I wonder if there's a clever way of automatically updating these threads every time we get a bit of polling news.
A few more voting intention figures for the smaller parties: SNP/PC 3 Grn 2 BNP 1 Respect 0 Oth 1

And back into the routine: Lab 43 Con 32 LibDem 10 UKIP 9 Approval -31 Not good enough from UKIP's point of view. They need to be ahead of the LDs in virtually every poll and be closer to 15% than 10%.

Of course, if I was unable to for any reason, I would expect somebody else to step in Re the Respect "score" - they have been at 0% in virtually all YouGov surveys save for a handful after Bradford W, when they reached the dizzy heights of 1% ;D

And the ST figures are unchanged from Friday's (43-32-10-9) apart from approval dipping slightly to -33.

And today's: Lab 43 Con 33 LibDem 10 UKIP 10 Approval -32 YouGov seems to be the polling company where UKIP find it most difficult to overtake the LDs so this poll is quite encouraging for Farage's party.

ICM have never had UKIP anywhere near the LD figure . The odd Yougov poll has had them 1 or 2 points ahead . Do not forget also Yougov always under sample LD identifiers ( this poll by 30% and oversample Others ( mainly UKIP , in this poll by 450% ) and their weightings only partially compensate for this consistent wrong sampling .

I think these Euro polls at this stage are a waste of space and clearly understate the Greens and other minor parties and overstate the two main parties (and probably the LDs too)

I can't imagine Labour's lead has come about because their European policies are in step with the most of the electorate. However, as is the case with the Conservatives, I dare say Labour's grassroot members are considerably more Eurosceptic than the leadership.

However, as is the case with the Conservatives, I dare say Labour's grassroot members are considerably more Eurosceptic than the leadership. I'd imagine there's a fair degree of regional variance on that. I think the more salient distinction in any case is between the views on Europe of our MEPs and our grassroots.
