London Bridge and Bermondsey West looks to be quite interesting, judging by twitter activity... I assume that since there is no longer a Grange ward, all or part of it is in this new one?

Yes I think it's the nearest successor to the Grange ward following a boundary review. It's essentially a Lib:Lab split ward and likely to be close between the two, however I've heard there's a significant bragging right at stake: If the Lib Dems win all 3, they then leapfrog Labour in terms of most gains in the 2018 Local elections. So plenty of activity here.

Seems more than half of Grange is in London Bride and Bermondsey West, the other left than half of Grange is in South Bermondsey.

I believe LBWB also takes in some estates from the old Riverside ward (now N Bermondsey) which were strongish for the Lib Dems.

Well, the Lib Dems have got their candidates in the right order if they want three seast, with the known semi-incumbent lowest on the ballot.
But the wrong order to take only one...

I understand the count for London Bridge and West Bermondsey commenced at 10am. They hope to have a declaration by early afternoon at the latest.

With 11 candidates for 3 seats, I hope they have a damn sight more than 2 counters. The process will be grass skirterrific.
No news from Doncaster either - and that's a single-seat election.

On a derisory 18% vote (well girls you wanted the damn vote and are celebrating getting it but not actually using it!) in heartland Labour area Doncaster and in the heartland of the heartland of that Doncaster, Labour can't even pull 50%.

As I understand it, this means the Lib Dems gained more seats than Labour in the 2018 Local Elections.
