Although there may have been an initial misunderstanding when I originally posted the number of eligible voters viz the number of votes cast and queried it. DB posed the question of the two separate ballots and then it all escalated from there. |

The AA figures are a Government run exit poll to all intents and purposes. So there are observers at the count for the opposition who watch the ballots and then feed back their own data. There is also the data which is fed into the YSK. So there are several "counts" going on as nobody trusts each other. 2 out the three I follow have RTE as having won, 1 puts him in a run off. Catholic Left is a good source on this as well. |

Go. Go now. No. Odo was a high-quality poster, but she has a hair-trigger capacity for taking offence. Scuffles involving her often escalate quickly, and I can't see how any moderator could have stopped things from getting out of hand other than by the sheer good fortune of being in the right place at the right time. (Not that cogload covered himself in glory, mind.) Perhaps you have some prior beef with AdminSTB . That's fair enough, but this particular episode doesn't discredit him. |
