With 96% done the opposition would need 7/8 for achieving a RunOff...

Presidential and Parliamentary ballots separate? Yes Nope. It is 20m more people voted than registered (unstamped ballots). The Gvt media are now broadcasting Erdogans victory parade. Fox is now broadcasting the CHP claiming that there will be a 2nd round. In the meantime the YSK are still counting.

I was answering whether there are separate presidential and parliamentary ballots, which there is. So no "nope".

I disagree. He has been seen as the only one that could realistically unseat Erdogan and is a natural candidate for anti-erdogan voters to coalesce around. The difference is a bit lower than expected, not higher. Even with the three way coalition there would be a pull on the CHP vote, although there is anecdotal evidence on Turkish Twitter of CHP/HDP switchers in order that the latter made the threshold (which according to the Fair Votes count they are still short). That the CHP lost votes, with the MHP retaining 4/5ths with a split party... Pull the other one. It has bells on. *dumbass*

With a high turnout many voters would have been unaffiliated and/or usually non-political. + first time voters where he was popular. Not all votes have to come from somewhere.

That should be obvious. I was answering a specific practical matter - whether there are two kinds of ballots. Nothing about the "20 mio. votes". So stop quoting my posts about it when you are taking about the "20 mio. votes".

Which is why I questioned the numbers in the first place, I know there are two ballots and DB quite rightly pointed out. So the numbers don't add up. That was my point.

The YSK will almost certainly tally with AA's numbers.
Erdogan has claimed the spoils. The next 7 years are going to be interesting.

The HDP and CHP are not ready to concede. Looking at the results it seems the MHP increased their vote in the Kurdish cities, which is umm interesting.
The AKP/MHP have a parliamentary majority so will they vote for a) the death penalty and b) ask for Dermitas to be sent to the hangman's noose?
Erdogan has indicated that he would be minded to agree on the latter point.

I think you have clearly demonstrated yourself to be exactly that. This thread would have been significantly more readable if you had stayed away from it - or preferably just deleted your account.
