Results by cities over 100K In Israel the only regions with a Centre-Left Jewish plurality/majority are TLV northern Suburbs & City of TLV Do you have a version of this with the ultra-Orthodox interest group parties separated out from the right?

I’ll make one when I’m home, But Bnei Brak is basically all Ultra-Orthodox, Jerusalem is like 40% ultra orthodox (I think) and Ashdod has a decent amount of them. I’ll also post the source here.

The new version has 7 ideological columns (Arab,Left,Centre,Lieberman,Secular Right, religious right,Ultra Orthodox) instead of 4 (Arab,Centre-left,Lieberman,Centre-right)

I don’t know about most cities, but Tel Aviv is very segregated politically. North (where I live) is suburban in nature and mostly upper middle class (specifically Barristers,Solicitors,Accountants and Bankers with the spouse working in the public sector or staying at home) families of Ashkenazi (traditionally Polish) decent who used to vote Labour until the the 2003 and since then mainly vote for centrist Liberal parties (much of the support is due to elitism and general distain for the Likud supporting Mizrahi working/middle class). Centre is mostly Left wing young hipster professionals who don’t actually make a lot of money and Gays. The South is very Mizrahi and Working class (mostly Moroccans) and as such vote Likud.

Israeli Opinion Polls, which seem to be legion, are regularly inaccurate. Until the different party lists are in place, I wouldn't bother with them. Which polling company was it and when was it published?

I am not convinced that Shaked will side with Bibi as PM as not all of her faction would let her (if they do get over the threshold); if Bibi stands aside, a definite Likud-led government.

Just voted in the Likud primary. Btw, the last non-“far left” MK in the Labour Party (Omer Bar-Lev) has been defeated and as such one would expect them to lose even more votes to B&W and YA.

How exactly are you defining the "far-left"? The shift seems to be an emphasis onto issues such as the cost of living and the housing - bread and butter for a party of the centre-left, and not driven by the personality cults evident in other parties. How is Gilad Kariv "far-left", or Naama Lazini? Yair Fink, formerly chief of staff for Shelly Yacimovich, and who also backed Ehud Barak when he left Labour, is a religious Zionist. There is a generational change, certainly, but a swing to the far-left - that is far off the mark.

There is a generational change, certainly, but a swing to the far-left - that is far off the mark. I used far left in quotations for a reason, as it is more of a shift to members who ACT more militantly then Labour used to (Meretz was always the party with the militant MKs). 1.Barak was/is the most hated figure in Israeli politics and is widely viewed in Israel as someone who campaigned as a Third-way moderate but governed to the left of people like Peres and Rabin (and later lost by a landslide) 2.Michaeli herself is viewed as someone who ideologically belongs to Meretz and not Labour (a party that until a couple of years ago had a lot of social/cultural moderates who are now voting Gantz) 3.Kariv is pretty widely viewed as far left because of his beliefs about the separation of Synagogue and state and his affiliation with Reform Judaism (which basically has 0% support in Israel and is actively hated by a large majority of the population) 4.Raitan is viewed as a C tier celebrity who was basically on sick leave the entire year
