Freedom of speech would be liberal, not right or conservative In The Autumn Of The Middle Ages it was left (i.e. progressive), but these days it is right (i.e. conservative), already even "right-extreme" to conserve the freedom of speech or of religion against the self-proclaimed "Liberals".

To not be accused once again of lying a clarification: We see a rise of anti-liberal ("totalitarian") movements also on the right - at latest during Corona politicians also of the right realized, that "The masses never demand liberty." (GOMEZ DAVILA): Liberties, constitutions, parliaments, right of free speech, "human rights" aso. are nowadays dogmata and fetishes, which are held up in public due to their historical reputation, but are in reality for the populace just a burden. (What makes all those sundaySpeeches praising them so entertaining...) So most "cons." politicians will in future opt for campaigning on security, law&order because it will deliver more electoral success. Nonetheless real conservatives will at least clandestinely try to slow the road to serfdom. That's, what i meant with "the 'final' issues". Thus my maiores' party ÖVP intending tougher law&order than FPÖ is pseudo-cons. (de facto towards a socialistic policeState), what certain pundits don't get of course; whereas Kickl - who is funnily enough the first FPÖ-leader not coming from the german-national-liberal (grand/middle)bourgeoisie, but derives from the socialistic pettyBourgeoisie - represents indeed the Freedomite Party Austria.

In the capital region of Salzburg (city & 2 suburban districts) took place a referendum on constructing an underGround-railWay. Only SPÖ opposed it (probably only in order to generate votes) - and prevailed! In the city - whose wealthy South is anyWay prone to NIMBYism - opted not a single precinct for it.

I'm surprised the SPO opposed a public transport project. I too. But then also not: They saw a chance to receive urgently needed fresh blood. And ÖVP's designated crownPrince wanted to present the public a big solution. The results show, what an opinionPoll had already detected: Especially for ÖVP's main base (elderly) it was too costly, leading to a dilemma with partyLoyality.

I made 2 years ago maps of vote%changes not least because of Mr.Dornauer: Yes, FPÖVP received in Tyrol this year their best result austrian-wide - yet, Burgenland&Carinthia are now solidly on the right; in urban, but proBusiness Vorarlberg the SPÖ-brand is too toxic; thus Tyrol will in future be actually SPÖ's best target! So i wanted to find out, how far they can get with leaving the (sub)urban graduates&imMigrants over to Greens&NEOS and focus on rural populism. And indeed Dornauer lost sharply in&around InnsbruckCity (where his female&woke preDeCessor had performed strongly in 2018) and EastTyrol (where she stemmed from), but gained not little in rural valleys: OverAll SPÖ improved only by meager 0.23% and the left bloc by 0.51%, still this was also caused by ÖVP proclaiming a - surreal - duel with FPÖ (and in the later ones of these pseudoDuels SPÖ performed actually worse): Of course: Even when surviving the present situation - if ÖVP&SPÖ&NEOS will emerge federally, his chances 2027 will/would anyWay be small (unless FPÖ and Dornauer managed to squeeze the ÖVP with its bland centrist).
