Four weeks ago, TUSC said it was selecting a candidate for Croydon North. Now it says it's standing in Rotherham and Middlesbrough, but no mention of Croydon.

Via Twitter (I just searched "Middlesbrough candidate") the Tory candidate is Ben Houchen, and the UKIP candidate is Richard Elvin.

Hussain is that Bradford councillor who was recently suspended from Labour, then switched to the Peace Party, I believe. A bit odd to now turn up in Middlesborough!

Which is more surprising given there's actually a Green Cllr here!

(Multiple post, one in each of the three by-election topics) I have just created an event using Blyve.com (as an alternative to Cover it Live) to cover the by-elections tomorrow evening. I will be starting it at 10.00pm GMT (as the polls close) and using both Twitter and the UK news channels for information, but would be very appreciative if members wouldn't mind dropping in and posting any interesting information they have about either the constituency or past electoral trends. The link for the event is blyve.com/event/8161b650057a340e86000000

It seems the LibDems haven't done utterly terribly here, which is a bit of a shame. Easy win for Labour expected, obviously

I can't get BBC or Sky Nrews here at all, even online so am entirely reliant on this place for updates. I hope you are all staying up
