It's a bit ignorant and cartoonish though. Andreotti, for instance, had his darker side, but he was also responsible for the creation of the SSN (i.e. the Italian NHS), redistributive economic policies that were quite effective in their way, and had an important role in the evolution of Italian cinema (bizarre but true). A lot of this came about due to co-operation with the PCI and its affiliated unions who the theoretically firmly anticommunist Andreotti got on with better than the DC Left. His relationship with the Mafia was also much more complex than claimed there - they seem to have picked up their postwar Italian history from Godfather III... It's an interesting parlour game, though. Craxi is fairly accurate though...

That's because there are 2 registers: one with male names and one with female names. yes, province of Monza One of not many people I can call northern by comparison! "I like my Italy like I like my Irelands- Northern".

Politico live blog reports that turnout is higher down south than during the 2016 referendum, in all regions. No figures to hand though.
Positive for MS5 and the Right, I'm guessing?

I'm presuming that exit poll is great news for everyone who thinks Berlusconi is a cunt?

The More Europe grouping showing a stunning degree of support for Jean-Claude's vision south of the Alps.
