I know this wasn't considered very scientific last time so I've cut the stats back to 1997

Sorry to be a pest dok but the boundaries changed quite a bit in 2010 here. On the other hand you could have taken your Corby one all the way back to 1983 as the boundaries haven't changed a bit since the seat was created then

Disclaimer - boundary changes for 2010 may render direct comparison between 1997 and 2010 difficult if not impossible, so analysis of the figures and the graph are at your own risk. Shares can go up as well as down. Sample - 23 women in Waitrose carpark. Not shown to scale. APR 1632%.

At least we know what a 10,000 majority looks like to a Lib Dem.

Exalt, although of course that's tame by Lib Dem standards. The bar chart actually shows the parties in the correct order for the same constituency in the same type of election, although of course the scale is deliberately misleading.

Rosie Winterton has moved the writ for Manchester Central in the House about two minutes ago.

In that picture how can you tell they are LD's ? They're brandishing what is clearly election material but which doesn't say which party it's from. That means they must be Lib Dems.
